Sabina Galantino

Registered Acupuncturist

From a very young age, I knew I wanted to help, but how? My path as a therapist began in 2009 at a school of alternative medicine in Montreal, where I graduated as a Natural Health Consultant (NHC). I completed my Reflexology training, all three levels of Reiki, and Acupressure.

Soon after, life guided me toward a training in massage therapy. I enrolled and completed Swedish massage training at the Guijek Institute of Integral Health in 2012. After a few years of working in spas as a massage therapist, I found myself bored. I wanted to help people on a deeper level, to do follow-up work. Traditional Chinese Medicine called me again, so I enrolled and completed my Shiatsu massage training at the Kiné-concept Institute in 2015.

However, my body was telling me it was in pain and no longer able to continue massaging. I focused on what I loved and motivated me. I was looking for another profession that would allow me to help others, work in health, and practice Traditional Chinese Medicine without causing pain to my body... Acupuncture, of course. That’s when I embarked on this big adventure and started my acupuncture training at Rosemont College in Montreal in 2017. After three years of intensive study, I left Montreal to settle in the Gaspé region, where I began my career as an acupuncturist and developed my passion for the outdoors.

I completed professional training in anxiety, insomnia, depression, fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and chronic pain to better support my patients through their challenges. In the summer of 2022, I left Gaspé to cycle across Canada and began my nomadic life. I substituted in various regions of Quebec, and each of these stints helped me refine my skills as a therapist, learning from the therapist I replaced.

Then, I took a sabbatical year, giving myself time to recharge by exploring Canada on a road trip. One of the stops that left a lasting impression on me was Revelstoke. I spent the winter of 2025 skiing and being charmed by the community.

And now, here I am, ready to accompany you on your wellness journey on the three levels: Body, Mind, and Spirit.
